How the assignments work...
1) Ref uses game number to email me requests. (pencil these in your calendar book)
2) I put your name on site, reply and tell you the games you have been assigned.
3) Ref checks that I have their name in the right places on site and replies to my email with the word confirmed.
(change the confirmed games to ink in your calendar book and erase the ones you might not have gotten)
4) Be there for your assigned games. Check the status of your game on site before you go. I will email you if it's been canceled, moved etc.
One time in 2011 I was down in Toronto without Internet and a sunny afternoon.
Up in Barrie and Innisfil it was pouring unbeknownst to me. If raining, check the Leagues web site for field closures before you go.
Most times I will get the message and pass it on but I can't be on here 24, 7.
REMEMBER, do some travelling, some AR jobs and make sure the same team doesn't see you in the middle too often.
