Read the message on 2012 registration and the new fees
We are currently looking for 4 individuals that would be interested in becoming District level Assessor for a Supervision/Appraisal program?
Attendance at an OSA course in April in York Region will be mandatory as well as a minimum number of nights of supervision/appraisal required.

EDUCATION SESSIONS
This year the HDSRA (Huronia District Soccer Referees' Association) has put together a series of 4 Education sessions
with the support of the HDSA (Huronia District Soccer Association) covering the following topics:
Written Reports ~ March 4
Offside ~ March 25
Fouls and Misconduct ~ April 15
Careless, Reckless and Excessive Force ~ May 6
The March 4 session will be held at the HDSA office in Barrie from 1pm to 3pm (80 Bradford Street West Wing 07, Barrie).
Unable to make it? Not willing to drive that far? No problem! Email Ken Van Dyk at kvdx2@sympatico.ca and join the session through our webinar component.
It's as easy as clicking the link in your response email! You will be able to see and hear all that is going on at the session,
as well as be able to participate through an instant messaging component! Webinar space is limited so email quickly in order to reserve your spot!
We are currently in the process of securing facilities for the remaining sessions.
Sessions will be held throughout the District so one may be coming close to you! We are also in final negotiations with our instructors, so stay tuned to see who will be coming to present! Instructors will be both from in and out of District so come and meet some new faces and hear what they have to say.
Sessions, dates, locations and times (all sessions to begin at 1pm and all are on Sundays) will be listed on the HDSRA website soon.

Soccer Referees' Association (HDSRA), a Member of the
Ontario
Soccer Referees' Association,
(OSRA). Whether you are
an experienced referee, a new referee, or are considering
becoming a referee, we hope that you will find our site and
our organization to be of interest and benefit to you. If
you are a player, a parent or someone who is just interested
in our sport, enjoy the site and feel welcome to return!

Here is a quick
review.
1) Our main goal
continues to be to supply good value for our members.
2) Our registration form will be ready soon. We hope you will join us
again this season; and encourage other refs to join.
3) Education Session topics and dates will be posted soon. You should
be able to participate online from home or attend in person.
4) We are working on a three strike system of consequences for refs
that do not complete assignments they accepted. To be posted.
5) We are still waiting for OSA to announce the clinics to become a
ref. If you know someone that is interested tell them to check our
site.
6) We will be adding a Ref Quiz page where you can send in your call
and have a chance to win prizes.
7) As well as continuing our mentoring system; all our District refs
will have at least one informal assessment every three years.
8) We will continue our good relationship with the H.D.S.A.

HDSRA, a voluntary organization, is tasked by
Huronia
District Soccer
Association (HDSA) to
provide educational instructors for continuing education
courses, preparing referees for their Regional Level Exam
and on-field mentoring. There is strength in numbers for
these roles and we actively welcome you to become a member
of the HDSRA. Check out this site for more information and

for referees and assistant referees is through the
